Let’s Go Canaries -Terms and Conditions
1) PAYMENT
At the time of booking a minimum deposit of £75
per person plus insurance cost is payable. The balance
is due 10 weeks prior to departure. It this is not received
Let’s Go Canaries reserves the right to cancel
your holiday. If the booking is made within 10 weeks
of departure date the total holiday cost is payable
at the time of booking. If payment is made by credit
card a surcharge of 2% will apply.

2) FLIGHT AMENDMENTS
Flights are scheduled months in advance and very occasionally
factors may result in flight consolidations making changes
to your flight. This can arise for many reasons. The
flight information quoted may be subject to alteration
and final details will be confirmed approximately 7-10
days before departure. Let’s Go Canaries cannot
accept responsibility for any delays or changes to flights
whatsoever.

3) CANCELLATION OF YOUR HOLIDAY
If you or one of your party cancels all or any part
of the booking, Let’s Go Canaries will require
written confirmation to be sent to its head office by
recorded delivery. The cancellation is only effective
from the date written notice of cancellation is received.
The following charges will apply to each person canceling.
The percentage figure shown is the percentage of the
price of the holiday which is cancelled that is payable
by the client:
Accommodation and insurance:
After booking has been confirmed 100%
All other charges:
more than 56 days prior to departure loss of deposit
29-56 days prior to departure 50%
15-29 days prior to departure 70%
0-14 days prior to departure 100%
In addition to the above charges Let’s Go Canaries
reserves the right to add under occupancy supplements
to other members of the party where less than the whole
party cancel. If holiday insurance has been arranged
clients may be able to recover the cancellation charges,
depending on the reasons for canceling. Please check
the policy for details.

4) ALTERATIONS BY YOU
If once the booking has been accepted by Let’s
Go Canaries , you wish to make any alterations to
the booking, Let’s Go Canaries will do all
it can to assist you although it is under no obligation
to make any alterations and in the event the requested
alterations not be achievable, the original arrangements
will remain in force. If Let’s Go Canaries
receive written notification not less than 56 days before
the day of departure then we reserve the right to make
a small administrative charge. You will also be required
to pay any additional costs arising from the alteration.
However, any alterations made by you less than 56 days
prior to the departure may be treated by Let’s
Go Canaries as a cancellation and so are subject
to the cancellation charges referred to in paragraph
3. Let’s Go Canaries will not be responsible
for the additional cost of any changes you make whilst
on holiday, and these must be paid for by you. Let’s
Go Canaries will not make refunds for any services
or accommodation booked, but not used.

5) ALTERATIONS BY LET’S GO CANARIES
Let’s Go Canaries do not control the day to
day management of the accommodation provided. It is
not our intention to make changes to, or cancel your
holiday once we have accepted your booking. However,
from time to time it may be necessary and we may be
forced to do so. If such events occur before your departure
date and consequently your holiday has to be materially
modified or cancelled, Let’s Go Canaries will,
if practicable, offer alternative arrangements. If alternative
arrangements cannot be made, or the proposed arrangements
are not acceptable, a full refund of all monies paid,
less any reasonable expenses incurred by us will be
made to you. Let’s Go Canaries will be under
no further liability to you or any other member of your
party arising out of cancellation of your holiday.If
you are staying at one of our Holiday Ownership resorts
on a promotional visit, and your apartment becomes unavailable
due to circumstances beyond our control, we will accommodate
you in the nearest Holiday Ownership resort available.
If the alternative is not acceptable we can either refund
your accommodation money in full or offer you a rental
apartment for which a supplement will be payable. However,
no refund of flights can be offered for Holiday Ownership
bookings.

6) INSURANCE
Each member of your party must take out travel insurance
with a reputable insurer, either by arrangement through
Let’s Go Canaries or otherwise. The policy
must insure each member of your party against cancellation,
personal accidents and medical and other travel risks.
You should take care to make sure that items of significant
value are adequately covered because most policies impose
limits on the value of individual items. If insurance
is arranged through Let’s Go Canaries , you
should read the policy and make sure that you consider
the cover provided is satisfactory. Additional cover
can usually be arranged on request, the additional cost
of which must be paid for by the client.

7) PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH
Each person travelling should be in possession of a
ten year passport. Visas are required for some countries,
the requirements often depending on the nationality
of the traveller. Please check the requirements of the
country to which you are traveling Some countries also
require proof of inoculation against certain diseases.
It is your responsibility to ensure that each member
of your party has the correct passport, visas and other
travel documentation. Enquiries as to the requirements
of the country or countries to be visited should be
made to the embassy, consulate or other authority of
each country concerned.

8) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
a) Let’s Go Canaries will exercise reasonable
care in making the arrangements for the holiday booked
and will compensate you and the members of your party
for any loss, damage or delay which arises directly
in consequence of its neglect to exercise such reasonable
care. Let’s Go Canaries will be under no further
liability for any loss suffered by you or any member
of your party.
b) You should be aware that it is possible that some
of the facilities referred to in the brochure or described
to you by Let’s Go Canaries may be unavailable
for all or part of your holiday. This can arise for
many reasons including, but not limited to weather or
other local conditions, maintenance or refurbishment,
public or religious holidays or festivals, or holidays
taken out of season. Holidays are booked on the basis
that availability of facilities may be so limited, and
Let’s Go Canaries will not be liable to you
for any such limitations.
c) Any flights forming part of the holiday arrangements
are sold subject to the terms and conditions on the
ticket issued by or on behalf of the carrying airline.
In most cases the airline’s liability is also
limited.
d) Unless Let’s Go Canaries has been negligent,
it shall not be liable for loss of, or damage to baggage,
or for any delay in its arrival.
e) Accommodation that is offered but does not feature
in the brochure may not be of the same standard.
f) Let’s Go Canaries shall not be liable
for any failure to perform the contract which is due
to unusual or unforeseen circumstances beyond the control
of Let’s Go Canaries or our suppliers, the
consequences of which could not have been avoided even
if all care had been exercised: including but not limited
to war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute including
air traffic control disputes, terrorist activity, natural
and nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions,
technical problems with transport, closure or congestion
of airports or ports.

9) DISPUTES
This agreement is governed by English Law and exclusive
jurisdiction is conferred on the English Courts to decide
any disputes which may arise.

10) HOLIDAY OWNERSHIP RESORTS
During your stay at one of our holiday ownership resorts
you will be scheduled to attend a presentation at a
time convenient to yourselves. You will be toured around
the complex and shown through the show apartments by
a representative who will explain the benefits of Holiday
Ownership. Age restrictions may apply. This only applies
to Holiday Ownership resorts and not to the villa and
rental apartments featured in the second section of
the brochure.
